Finding Us At The Museum
If you park in the Green Square Parking deck, you will enter the museum on the backside. Proceed to elevators on your left and go up to the 4th floor.
If you arrive at the museum on the Jones Street side, be sure to enter through the entrance to the right of Globe (if facing the building). The elevators will be on your right, take the elevator to the 4th floor.
Museum doors will open promptly at 9am.
For parking near the Nature Research Center wing, the Green Square parking deck is located at the corner of Edenton and McDowell Streets, behind the Nature Research Center. The entrance to the deck is on Edenton between Salisbury and McDowell Streets. Exit the deck on the north side and you will be at the back entrance to the NRC.Limited metered parking is also available along Jones and Edenton Streets. Parking fees are applied between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. There is nearby metered parking on the streets, but it is limited to 2 hours.
Guests may access the NRC from the Jones Street entrance or the rear entrance from the parking deck. The museum will be unlocked to the public at 9am.
